Integration Capabilities

MercuryGate solutions have become the TMS solution of choice not only because of the rich functionality, but because it is easy to integrate with other software you, your customers, and your partners are using. This, in turn, supports the rapid implementation of MercuryGate solutions.

For companies using SAP as part of their supply chain or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, the MercuryGate TMS has integrated interfaces to pass data between these systems.  The MercuryGate TMS supports interaction with SAP using both the SAP BAPI (Business Application Programming Interface) and the IDoc (Intermediate Document) interfaces. For example, the MercuryGate TMS uses the BAPI interface to pick up tracking messages 240/214 for visibility of shipments or for real time inbound routing of shipments from vendors (i.e., collaborative tool linking suppliers and carriers). In another example, the MercuryGate TMS uses the IDoc interface for asynchronous or "batch like" integration for orders processing.
